Course at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City
Participants become familiar with an extended range of anatomical relationships and granular details of micro neurosurgical anatomy. A fully dedicated and experienced team guides participants through surgical techniques, including their risks, benefits, and prognoses.
Our neurosurgery training laboratory at Weill Cornell Medicine is state-of-the-art. Participants perform dissections using 3D microscopes and live 3D projections. Each station is equipped with high-quality high-speed drills, aspirators, and Mayfield systems to simulate real operating room settings.
We prioritize individual attention, so we only have five stations, and we limit use to two participants each. This maintains a professor / participant ratio of 1:1 and allows us to dedicate more than 95% of class time to practical activities.
Our multi-lingual, multidisciplinary team is always available to answer any question and offer personalized dissection practice for each surgeons’ individual goals. We hope everyone who attends our course will enjoy themselves while improving their practical knowledge of micro neurosurgical anatomy.
